YouTube is a very popular video platform and has been for as long as I can remember! I remember as a kid I would watch so many different creators all the time. It is a platform that hosts one-third of the entire internet and is only getting more popular with time. According to YouTube, their mission is "to give everyone a voice and show them the world." They do exactly that by letting each user post whatever content they would like to, which helps entertain many different audiences. Today I specifically wanted to talk about how to optimize your YouTube videos. In order to use YouTube to its fullest capabilities, you have to be sure to optimize each video to get the most views possible. In my opinion vlogging is one of the most entertaining things to watch in our generation. The fun thing about vlogs is that the creator can talk about anything they want and change it up all the time to get the most out of their content creation.  Vlogs can be anything like a day in the life, get ready with me, unboxing packages, reviews on products and much more. I personally find vlogs so entertaining and love the varieties of various subjects. My favorite types of vlogs are day in the life vlogs because you get to see so many adventures that people go on.  Although blogging is still very popular, the younger generation has turned to vlogging as the primary source of hearing about people's lives and what they are up to.   Welcome to my blog! I am so excited that you decided to visit today. I am Kayleigh Jarkowsky, a freshman Musical Theatre major with a minor in Marketing here at Ohio Northern. I wanted to dedicate my first blog to helping my readers learn a little bit more about me, my passions, and why I decided to come to ONU and study these two fields. I was born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, so life here in Ohio sure can be very different than my life back home. I have two loving parents, 4 siblings, and 2 sisters-in-law with whom I am very close, so living so far away from them is not easy some days.
