This platform was very slow growing compared to other social media platforms, but it now has an average of 445 million monthly users. Pinterest is a platform that follows a pinboard-style network and allows users to discover and pin ideas onto their personalized boards. A pin is a visual with an online link embedded in it so that when a user clicks that visual it takes them to a website to learn more about that pin.
